Sweet Southern Socials is a full-service event planning agency, located in Charlotte, NC. SSS (as we sometimes call it :) ) specializes in large scale events, such as Weddings, Sweet Sixteens, Quinceaneras, Bat Mitzvahs, etc. We also love planning all types of events of all sizes, including non-profit fundraisers, corporate gatherings, networking events! Sweet Southern Socials was founded by friends, Katie and Lauren and their passion for event planning.
Katie Driscoll is an alumnus of University of Tennessee. She graduated with a degree in Retail and Consumer Sciences, Minor in Business Administration, and a Certificate of Event Planning. Katie has always loved everything about weddings, as well as planning events and parties. She acts as the Creative aspect of Sweet Southern Socials.
Lauren Abeel is an alumnus of UNC Charlotte. She graduated with degrees in Public Relations and Psychology. Through her education and work experience in PR and Marketing, and the planning of her own wedding, she developed a love for event planning. She also acts as the sales and marketing aspect of Sweet Southern Socials.

Sweet Southern Socials has several different planning packages to choose from in order to suite your needs:
- Carolina Lily (our full planning package)
- Magnolia (our partial planning package)
- Dogwood (our short-term planning package)
- A la carte services
Prices for each package will be determined after our initial consultation. Keep in mind-- we are also capable of travelling anywhere the Carolinas and other locations throughout the Southeast (and Beyond!)
